- Project DIVA - rhythm game series by Sega and Crypton, originally released on the PlayStation Portable
- Project mirai - rhythm game by Sega and Crypton released on the Nintendo 3DS, spin-off of Project DIVA
- Project Sekai - rhythm game by Colorful Palette and Sega for mobile devices, spin-off of Project DIVA. It features some Vocaloids and original non-Vocaloid characters
- Utaite - usually people who cover Vocaloid songs and publish them on Niconico
- UTAU - another singing voice synthesizer software. Unlike Vocaloid, it's shareware and also allows you to create your own voicebank which you can let other people download
- Voicebank - also called voice library, it includes all of the recorded sounds that allow the Vocaloid to sing
